This MasterClass will take your Volere requirements process to the next level. It shows you how to build on your existing requirements expertise and integrate requirements into project management for the maximum effect.
The book "Requirements-Led Project Management: Discovering David's Slingshot" (Addison-Wesley, 2005) by Suzanne and James Robertson is supplied to each participant on the public course.
In this course we show you ways of choosing the best set of requirements to give you a competitive edge and still get your product to market on time, including techniques for quantifying the business value of investing in requirements.
We also address the need to anticipate market opportunities by explaining how to invent the requirements your customers are not yet asking for. And we address the question of dealing with requirements for existing systems along with techniques for managing meta-projects - large projects made up of a number of smaller ones.
The course also looks at project sociology, and helps you to identify the correct stakeholders for your project, how to get them involved in the appropriate parts of the project and even more importantly, how to keep them involved.
